Crib until college?
Katelyn won't need a bunk bed in her dorm because she will still be sleeping in a crib. I know most of my friends who have children close in age are starting to move their little ones into a toddler bed. Honestly, I can't remember how old my son was when he got his big boy bed. I just don't think our little princess is going to be ready any time soon. She is a really wild sleeper! The bumper is still in place because I fear she would smash her head into the bars. I check on Katelyn at night and find her in some very interesting positions. She literally does circles around the bed.... and yes, she is sleeping with her feet hanging out.

Shelby rolls all over, too! I have no idea how you teach a kid to sleep in one direction. I think we're still a few months away from needing to try, though. Phew!
ReplyDeleteLove the feet sticking out. My DD used to sleep like that too! She just started in a big girl bed a couple weeks ago since she started screaming "get me out of here" when I put her in her crib. Lol. She fell out once, but no harm done. She likes it. :) I say do it when she's ready...or she learns to climb out.
